Rebecca Wooding, Deputy Vice Chair, ACE National Progress Network, Infrastructure Advisor, DFID
Rebecca Wooding is a chartered mechanical engineer with experience in international development, renewable energy and the construction sector. Rebecca is currently an Infrastructure and Energy Advisor at Department for International Development, where she provides technical guidance into developing countries infrastructure delivery plans, policies and programmes. She is currently leading DFID’s inclusive infrastructure initiative; improving how DFID designs and plans infrastructure programmes to cater for people with disability. Prior to working for DFID Rebecca worked for Mott MacDonald as a hydropower engineer and has worked internationally all her career.
Rebecca is also Vice-Chair of ACE Progress Network, a position she has held for nearly 2 years. In her role in ACE Rebecca is a strong advocate for diversity in the workplace and has taken a lead role in initiating and driving the reverse mentoring pilot.View all Advisors>
